Oh hello blue jays!

Incase you don't know this about me, I love the blue jays! ... Especially my superman ... AKA Kevin Pillar

I love them so much that for the last few years I've gone to the home opener, moving to calgary wasn't about to change that. Last year I went with the whole family, this year since we ended the year so amazing getting all those tickets wasn't going to be an option. I was able to get 3 tickets, one for myself, my little brother, and our buddy Shane.

After the 2 hour drive, and the issue with finding parking downtown Toronto on opening weekend ... we finally made it!

2015 Banner! Isn't it wonderful?

Not only did I get family time when I was back in ontario, but I also got to attend the game with my best friend!

Jordan, Myself & Justin.

 Jordan, Tony & myself

After the game ended we head over to see some friends we haven't seen in awhile and had a nice Chicken Alfredo dinner! Thanks again Lianna, it was amazing! ... We headed back home after a long day.

Sunday I finally got to me my best friend Audri's daughter Morgan. She is just as sweet as I thought she would be! After our visit I picked up Jacob from work, and the rest of the day did nothing but hangout, it was great. Geoff, Jacob & I watched game #3 of Blue jays VS Boston, well Amy & Hudson were out and about. After they got home we spent the rest of the day watching baseball and just hanging out! Later that night i headed back to my brothers to say our goodbyes! Its actually starting to get a little easier, maybe thats because my summer vacation starts in 2 months and I'll be back! Later that night I finally got a chance to watch "Dead Pool" with Jacob. What a great movie, even though I feel asleep just before the end, from what I can remember it was a good!

The next day before leaving town I stopped in to see my Aunt Sue. We have a very special relationship, and I love when I get to see her, even if its only for a few minutes!

I headed back to Oshawa after the visit with my aunt to spend some time with my dad before I flew out. We'll visiting my dad, I also got to see this little guy!  Jesiah AKA Nephew #7.

I also realized that I left my luggage at Amy's house, and hour from where I was and that I would have no time to turn around to get it. On the bright side I didn't NEED anything in there. I left my dads house and headed for the airport later that afternoon. However I was about 5 minutes late for my flight, and they wouldn't let me print my boarding pass. I was so not impressed, thankfully they were about to find me another flight that day and I didn't have to pay anything extra.

Finally Monday night I made it back to Calgary. After a long stressful day I was finally ready for bed!

Even though the end of the trip didn't go as well as planned everything before that was amazing! I wouldn't trade my life experiences for anything! I work hard and I play hard! Thats my key to happiness.

Until next time ...

Another Great Trip Part II

Welcome back to part II of why my jobs so great!

As you read last time I had another great trip to ontario! I got to go to Grimsby, Ont which is just under 2 hours from my older brother john's house. If you've been reading for a while you already know how close John & I are. We've been through a lot together, well dealing with many issue's of our own but we did it together. I couldn't ask for a better big brother or a better friend.

John picked me up from the dealership on friday afternoon and we drove back to his place. I was greeted with 3 of the cutest kiddies! I spent the rest of the after noon/evening hanging out with all of them laughing playing and even getting some cuddles from those busy bodies!

Not only did I get lots of lovings for those cuties. I also got to visit with my best friend Rachel. I cant put in to words how much she means to me! We've been through so much together, good times, bad times, break ups, TV marathon's... and I know we'll be there for each other for many more years to come!

Rachel has 2 beautiful daughters who I adore. I met my princess PayPay (Her first daughter Payton) when I first moved to Alberta, and she was 6 months old. Since that day I've watched her blossom into this beautiful smart talented, almost 3 year old! She amazes me every day in so many ways. I hate that Im not there to physically see her grow, but that just makes our video chat's that much better! Last year Rachel gave birth to another little girl and they named her Tessa Kalleen. I was truly honoured that they had chosen her middle name as my first name.

Not only did I get to see Rach, the girls (And murf cant forget about her miss ya girl:) I was there to celebrate Tessa's first birthday! We had so much fun hanging out watching Payton open Tessa's presents (LOL she's 2 what can we say) For the most part I'd say Tessa enjoyed her birthday, right up until Auntie pushed her hand in the cake (In my defence, she was only eating the icing and taking to long to get to the good stuff!)

Birthday Girl Tessa!

Payton opening Tessa's gifts and Tessa checking out her new gifts

Tessa after I stuck her hand in her cake ... Poor girl ...

"But Murf, wheres my birthday cake?"
... and she needed to give herself a facial too ...

I also finally was able to give Payton her christmas gifts as well ... better late then never!

After the birthday party it was time to unwind ... and by unwind I mean have some drinks & play monoloply ...

They were so good

The next morning we started with an amazing breakfast, Eggs hash browns bacon & toast! - Thanks Murf, it was delicious! For the next few hours I just sat around enjoying my time with everyone, an of corse taking pictures...

We had so much fun playing with snap chat filters

Seriously how cute is she!?!

Later that afternoon, it was time to say my goodbyes and head back to Calgary... Cant wait until my next visit to see all these cuties! I miss them all so much, they are all so special in their own ways!

Until next time ...

Another great trip

Incase I don't say it enough, MY JOB IS AMAZING!

I was asked to go on a install trip to Grimsby, Ont. At first I'm like where in the world is Grimsby? Turns out its about 1.5 hours from my brother/best friends house. Of corse I accepted the trip!

I left with the team on Sunday to head to the hotel in St. Catherine's, Ontario. Since we were so close to Niagara Falls, we spent a lot of time seeing the falls and walking Clifton Hill.

Finally, A paid trip home

Hey guys!

As most of you know I have the best job in the world! I get to travel around the world for free! I've been waiting all year for a paid trip home and finally I got my trip home! Work asked me to do a trip to Stirling, Ontario. Which is about a 25 minute drive from my home town.

The trip couldn't of come at a better time it was family day weekend. The install trip didn't start until the 16th, so I flew into Ontario on the 12th and spent the night at my dads. The next day I got so much needed time with 3 of my nephews...

Later that night I headed to my brothers to chill out for the night, and then taking him & our mom out for family day breakfast at Dennys.

Monday was Family Day and I got to spend it the way I wish I spent everyday, with the family!
Breakfast started with my making a trip to Tim Hortons (were a house full of gambling addicts/coffee junkies) - When I got home I enjoyed a delicious omelette by the fantastic omelette chef Geoff! Then it was off to Belleville to pick up Meaghan & her kiddies! We all spent the rest of the day laughing and joking, I couldn't believe the size of my boys!

I spent the rest of the week at the Pocknell/Thompson house hold, and spent some time hanging out with my brother. Not to mention, got to see Lisa & Weston - I cant believe how cute he is! Unfortunately I forgot to snap a picture of the cutie! Mainly because i was to busy trying to catch up with Lisa! God i love that women!

Later that night I went out for dinner with 2 of the most amazing women I'm honoured to call them my best friends. Yes i might be trying to suck up because somewhere in all this excitement on up coming installs, and post I forgot to mention I also had a chance to have dinner with them as well! Any who.. I love them both, and they know it :p - Any way I was lucky enough to have a fun dinner date with the 2 of them! thanks again for the laughs ladies ....

I also got to spend some time catching up with another great friend Amber, and her daughter Jess (Who loved Aunt BB's gifts cause Aunt BB is awesome isnt she jess ;) & Dakota, aint she tha cutest!

Before I knew it the week was over and it was time to head back, I spent saturday night at my days house, and flew back to Calgary Sunday night!

I love my job, and i miss my family...but moments like those make it all worth it ...

Until next time
